Job Description

The Women's Basketball Program at the University of Missouri is seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to serve as the Head Video Coordinator. Reporting directly to the Head Coach, the Head Video Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of video analysis, scouting, and player development support for the women's basketball team.

Responsibilities:

Video Analysis and Scouting:
  • Film all practices, games, and individual workouts using state-of-the-art video equipment.
  • Break down and analyze game film to provide coaches and players with valuable insights and strategic feedback.
  • Create comprehensive scouting reports on upcoming opponents, including tendencies, strengths, and weaknesses.
  • Player Development Support:
  • Collaborate with coaching staff to develop customized video packages for player improvement and skill development.
  • Provide players with access to game film and individual performance analysis to aid in their development and preparation.
  • Assist in organizing and conducting film review sessions and individual player meetings as needed.
Technology Management:
  • Maintain and organize a comprehensive video library of game footage, practice sessions, and opponent scouting reports.
  • Stay current with video analysis software and technology trends to optimize workflow efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Assist in the setup and operation of video equipment for practices, games, and team events as required.
Compliance and Administrative Duties:
  • Ensure compliance with NCAA rules and regulations regarding video operations and recruiting activities.
  • Complete administrative tasks related to video coordination, including budget management, equipment inventory, and scheduling.
Shift

Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm; Nights, Weekends, and Travel as required.

Minimum Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree in a related/relevant area or an equivalent combination of education and a minimum of 3 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired. Experience in the following of adhering to NCAA rules and regulations is also necessary.

Preferred Qualifications

Master's Degree. Prior experience as a video coordinator for a NCAA Division I women's basketball program.

Anticipated Hiring Range

Salary Range: $55,000 - $85,000

Grade: GGS-MKT
