The Summer 2024 Marketing Internship is a paid educational opportunity for individuals interested in Marking, or Hospitality Management students seeking to fulfill their school's experiential educational requirements. We are seeking to fill a key role in our Marketing department that is responsible for providing administrative support to the department. The Intern will assist with marketing & advertising campaign execution, departmental projects, and resort promotions as needed. Students are provided the opportunity for hands-on training in a Forbes and AAA-rated environment. The internship typically begins anywhere from early May through late August and consists of 16 weeks of consecutive full-time work.

Nemacolin interns are eligible for on-site housing options as well as other benefits. 

Essential Functions:

    • Assist the Marketing Managers and Director of Marketing as needed
    • Maintain the Department’s Office Supplies
    • Prepare and process Expense Reports and Check Requests as needed
    • Responsible for Daily Mail / UPS Runs
    • Assist the Nemacolin Sales Departments with print and digital design requests
    • Responsible for preparation and distribution of the resort wide communication collateral
    • Responsible for research, submission and logging of resort prize letters
    • Assists with resort wide signage
    • Assist all members of the Marketing Team with any duty necessary to maintain consistency and efficiency for the Resort
    • Assist with planning, marketing & executing paid marketing and advertising campaigns
    • Assist with planning and communicating group sales collateral and digital materials to sales the sales managers
    • Assist all members of the Marketing Team with any duty necessary to maintain consistency and efficiency for the Resort
    • Assist the Marketing team with proofing various collateral pieces
    • Basic Administrative duties including, but not limited to, telephone communication, filing, etc.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required

  • Continuous authorization to work in the U.S. for the duration of the internship.
  • A minimum GPA of 2.5 or higher.
  • 2nd or 3rd-year student in an accredited collegiate Marketing other related discipline
  • 1-2 yrs Marketing experience, either through school or professional experience
  • Must be proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Publisher)
  • Must have the ability to speak English fluently.
