Maintenance and Inventory Specialist - Exira Station

Missouri River Energy Services is seeking a candidate to perform purchasing, inventory, receiving, and other administrative functions at its Exira Station located in Brayton, Iowa.  Exira Station is a peaking power plant utilizing GE LM6000 gas turbines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintaining parts inventory, procurement of parts, equipment, and services.
• Maintain the asset management database including inventory data, performing inventory procurement and reporting, and financial accounting/auditing.
• Performs purchasing, receipt, inspection and documentation of supplies and materials.
• Supports work order documentation into the asset management database.
• Controls materials, parts, equipment, and tooling using the appropriate computerized system.
• Performs warehousing services to ensure orderly arrangement of inventory, storage location and conditions are maintained, and manages shelf-life items.

Qualifications:

• A high school diploma or equivalent and two-year related experience with computers and software applications related to essential duties. General knowledge of accounting principles is a plus.
• Knowledge of inventory software, work order processing systems, spreadsheet, and word processing software.
• Experience with an asset management system and Microsoft Office.
• Solid written and verbal communication skills.
• Maintain a current valid state driver’s license.
