We are committed to best practices in early childhood and strive to meet every child's individual needs. Our enrolled families reflect the diversity of our neighborhood and together form a kind group of engaged parents who enjoy coming together for potlucks and parent events. Most of our staff have been with us for more than 5 years and we are a thoughtful, committed group that enjoy one another's company both at and outside of work. The Preschool is open year-round and has monthly in-service days throughout the year for trainings, staff meetings, classroom prep time, and teambuilding. Classrooms also have daily prep time (when all staff are present) for curriculum planning and team meetings.

We are looking for candidates who are:
  • committed to the field of early childhood
  • knowledgeable about child development and developmentally appropriate practice
  • excited to learn more and grow in the field
  • experienced with play-based and emergent curriculum models
  • skilled at developing meaningful relationships with children and families
  • dedicated to anti-bias education
  • responsible & dependable
We will provide the right candidate with:
  • Excellent benefits courtesy of Loyola including tuition credit after 1 year of employment (several of our staff members have gotten their Master's Degrees for free). More information on benefits at Loyola is available here: https://www.luc.edu/hr/benefits.shtml.
  • Great salary commensurate with experience
  • Support and space to be creative, take ownership, make mistakes, and find inspiration
  • Regular training opportunities in your personal area of interest (for example: sensory integration, emergent curriculum, etc)
