Multi-Media Designer – Lotus Media Group

Position Overview: As a Multimedia Designer, you will be responsible for creating visually compelling and interactive multimedia content across various digital and print platforms. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to conceptualize, design, and produce multimedia assets that effectively communicate the brand's message and engage the target audience.

Key Responsibilities:

Design Development:

  • Conceptualize and develop creative multimedia solutions including graphic design for print, digital display, digital animated display, story boards and video post-production.
  • Translate concepts into visually appealing designs while adhering to brand guidelines and project requirements.
  • Utilize industry-standard software and tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) to create multimedia content.
  • Assist with print publication pagination and production workflow as needed.

Multimedia Production:

  • Produce multimedia assets for various digital platforms such as websites, social media, mobile applications, and presentations.
  • Edit and enhance audio, video, and image content to ensure high-quality output.
  • Collaborate with content creators, writers, and developers to integrate multimedia elements seamlessly into projects.

Project Management:

  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project timelines.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to understand project objectives, gather feedback, and incorporate revisions as needed.
  • Maintain organized files and documentation to facilitate project tracking and asset management per company procedures.

Innovation and Trend Analysis:

  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in multimedia design.
  • Experiment with new techniques and technologies to enhance the visual appeal and interactivity of multimedia content.
  • Provide recommendations for innovative multimedia strategies to improve audience engagement and brand perception.

Quality Assurance:

  • Conduct thorough quality checks to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and functionality of multimedia assets across different platforms and devices.
  • Address any technical issues or discrepancies in multimedia content to maintain a seamless user experience.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Multimedia Design, Visual Communication, or related field OR equivalent work experience.
  • Proven experience in multimedia design, with a strong portfolio showcasing a range of multimedia projects.
  • Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effects, Premier Pro, InDesign and other relevant applications.
  • Working knowledge of video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro).
  • Familiarity with web design principles, user interface (UI) design, and responsive design techniques.
  • Strong understanding of typography, color theory, and visual aesthetics.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Detail-oriented with a keen eye for visual quality and consistency.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and project requirements.
