VETERANS BENEFITS SPECIALIST
Seeking a reliable, responsible person for a FT position with the Franklin County Veterans Service Commission. This position helps Veterans and eligible dependents with financial assistance applications and VA benefit claims. Possess an honorable discharge from the U.S. Armed Forces in accordance with ORC 5901.07; high school graduate or GED equivalent; pass required background investigation. Must possess typing skills, interpersonal and communication skills, familiar with Microsoft Office products, and knowledge of PC.

Starting wage is $22.84/hour

Must be an honorably discharged Veteran of the Armed Forces of the U.S. in accordance with Ohio Revised Code 5901.06. Pass background check. Computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office. Ability to comply with agency policies and procedures; and interpret a variety of instructions in written, oral, picture or schedule form.
