Drew University is seeking an Event Logistics Coordinator in the Auxiliary Services Department. This position will maintain the day-to-day logistics of all of our campus-wide events. Duties include: setup and breakdown of all event furniture on a daily basis, creation of weekly operation reports, support of external rentals and use of Mazevo, the University's scheduling software. During the summer months, this position will work with a variety of camps and conferences. This is a 12 month, full time, non-exempt position, reporting to the University Scheduler and Event Manager. Key Responsibilities:
  • Event Logistics – This includes setting up and breaking down all event furniture along with maintenance and storage of this equipment.
  • Campus Software – This includes use of Social Tables to create space diagrams, Mazevo to create operation reports & the Google suite of products to stay organized and assist the department and campus partners in the successful execution of events.
  • Serve as the back-up scheduler, as needed.
Required Qualifications:
  • Academic requirements: High school diploma required, Associates degree preferred
  • Minimum years of practical, relevant experience required for this position: 1-3 years of experience.
Desired Skills and Experience: Someone who has computer/technical skills, written and oral communication skills, a team player, strong customer service skills and is able to work independently. Knowledge of a scheduling software is a plus.
