Laborer, Lifeguard & Waterpark Aide

SEASONAL POSITIONS
Laborer – Parks Department (Must be 18 years old)

Job Description:
The Parks Department consists of the following divisions:
parks, recreation, and cemetery. The job of Laborer is an entry level seasonal position that performs semi-skilled and skilled maintenance work involving grounds, buildings and equipment in any division within the Park Department. This position may be required to perform heavy manual labor to assist in the repair and maintenance of public property and facilities; and performs related work as required. This individual will be required to work out of doors in all kinds of weather. The Laborer is supervised by a crew leader or a Division Supervisor.

Lifeguard – Westmoor Pool (Must be 15 years old)
Requires Certification – Eligible for Certification Reimbursement Program

Job Description:
The Lifeguard's primary responsibility is to promote and conduct a safe, yet physically wholesome environment for the patrons using the City's Waterpark. The Lifeguard follows established procedures and attends in-service training. The job involves working daytime hours, evening hours, and weekends. This position may receive instructions and assignments from the Waterpark Manager &/or the Park
Supervisor. Direct supervision for this position will be provided by the Waterpark Manager.

Waterpark Aide – Westmoor Pool (Must be 15 years old)
Job Description:

The Waterpark Aide performs various tasks at the City's Waterpark. This individual assists with the upkeep and maintenance of the facility and equipment. This position may be assigned to special event activities outside of the Waterpark under the direction of the Park Manager. The Waterpark Aide is directly supervised by the Waterpark Manager. Assist with special events outside of the Waterpark facility as assigned. Regular attendance and punctuality required.

Pay Range: $10.50 - $14.00
